Moving forward is often about stepping back. Stepping back far enough to see clearly and understand what's going on without feeling judged or labelled.

Holding Hope Counselling Service is about helping you do exactly that.

Often we come to counselling because we're unhappy or dissatisfied with aspects of our lives, and that can result in an eroded sense of loveability or worthiness. We can feel stuck or hopeless. But I aim to create a safe space in which to explore difficulties and work towards a better understanding that helps you relate authentically to others and yourself.

So whether you are dealing with depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, addiction or relational difficulties, or a vague pestering sense of unhappiness, there is a way forward, and always hope for change.

Yes I'm trained (see below) and continually engage in professional development and supervision. But I'm all about helping you become the expert on yourself.

As a Mental Health Social Worker, it's also possible to see me under a Mental Health Plan with a referral from your GP.
